ABOUT ME
As part of Autodesk's acquisition of Advance Steel and Advance Concrete in 2013, I was brought over to help drive the adoption in North America. I've worked as a Technical Specialist for Advance Steel, Robot Analysis, and structural BIM workflows. I have a wealth of industry experience in structural engineering, from traditional steel, concrete, and timber design, to seismic design and spectral analysis working for over 13 years in California and 10 years in Canada. The last 8 years have been focused on Steel design and Fabrication. I have worked for Walt Disney Imagineering, Parsons, and PCL on projects worldwide, to name a few.
BIM integration and adoption of BIM workflows have been some of my focuses since working on Disney’s Expedition Everest in 2004. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering (BS ArcE) from Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo in 1995.
